I left work May 6th because of the whooping cough epidemic going around in my district. I didn't want to take the risk of my little Ethan getting it after he's born so I left 2 weeks before the school year ended. I'm currently trying to complete an online course to become a medical transcriber so I can work from home. I also plan on substituting about twice a month to keep my teaching license while I'm a stay home mom. Josh is currently taking an M-CAT prep course on line this summer to help get his score up when he takes it again in August. Here's hoping! Hopefully he will also get a job in the hospital this August as an orderly. There will be an opening then that will work perfectly with his school schedule in the Fall.
He is re-applying for med school all over the country again but in the mean time he will be getting a minor in business and a minor in public health to open up a hospital administration option if med school doesn't end up working out. We are currently awaiting the phone call to meet and determine when we can move into the "Springs" in south Logan. We simply need a bigger place to start raising our family and we hope to be moved and settled in before our baby boy shows up in July. Here's hoping!
Exciting! I hope that everything works out for you two. I'm sad Josh didn't get in, but I guess that is just life.
